| just came back from the beyonce concert that my brother and young pitched in for my birthday. went with my sister and wow, the concert exceeded my already high expectations..beyonce is suchhh a great performerr, i loved all her music and every single second of the concert. being in a vip suite was pretty awesome too:) my birthday weekend was awesome. hung out at dnb w. bunch of church, school, and old friends. lots of fun. had pho after, and then the next day, went to dinner at cpk w. some more friends and to halo afterwards. such good times:) i cant believe i am 23. i feel like 22 still. :) i dont like the number 23 actually. lol family pictures this upcoming friday, and then off to vancouverr!!! so looking forward to that trip! then off to florida for med school in about 2 weeks. excited/scared/bittersweet about leaving! | | |
| wow i havent been on xanga for so long, i didnt even know how to create a new entry been a year since my last entry! i wish i can rewind back a couple years... so im starting med school in august and currently working at a derm clinic..2 and a half months left until i leave for florida!! wow im going to be in florida for about 3 years...i think im going to really enjoy it. i miss studying and a part of me wants to be on my own again. altho im incredibly going to miss cali, friends, and esp family. i'm excited to study what i love- medicine. i'm determined to learn as much as i can and to be the best at what i do. i really want to travel before i start medical school. no matter what, im gonna make one big trip (i'm thinking australia..) or maybe tokyo or something. not sure. if i had the money id go everywhere right now..but too many loans to take care of at this time. lol i've been spending more time with my family and everytime that i do, i am so happy and grateful to have such a strong, close knit, supportive family. i feel like the luckiest girl because of my family. yes, my family makes me that happy:) i think each and every one of them are such great role models, especially my mom. when i wake up early for work and am sooo tired that i dont want to go, i think of how my mom works a 8-10pm job and still comes home so content without a single complaint. i wish i was as hard working as her. some other things on my mind but id rather keep them to myself so.. the end! :) | | |
| i really miss europe, i seriously cant even believe i was there for a semester.
i wish it was 2007 again
had fourth of july at church and i was just thinking, wow time flies
i remember one of the first fourth of julys i had at church in kali
now all the lil kids are grown up, youth group are in college or done with college
and so many people around me are getting married
life is moving on way too fast

As of today, I am officially done with all my papers and finals! :)
Will be going to italy next week for three days which I am excited about.
and will be visiting Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and Oxford hopefully in the days to come.

i remember thinking three months was a long time
its actually way too short
life is just too short.
the older i get, the more i realize it.
i just watched a musical here on friday- AVENUE Q! was actually realllyy good, highly recommend it. my friends had told me about it before but i thought how good can a puppet musical be. sooo funny, i laughed throughout the whole thing, and theres actually lots of meaningful thoughts in it.
theres one song that goes "its only for now"
everything we have right now, whether its good or bad, its only for now. yeah we are sitting here on our computers complaining about studying, writing papers, etc. but hey when else in your life are you going to be studying what you are studying and have exams to study for? we're only in college once, we should appreciate every aspect of it now, cuz it really is only for now.
life is too short, enjoy everything you have right now, what you have at THIS moment.
be grateful of all the opportunities that are right in front of you. appreciate it now while you have it.
